BeamCrack

BeamCrack is a simple application that will set or reset the bit in each application's
database header which tells the launcher that it should or shouldn't be beamable, thus
bypassing the PalmPilot's infantile copy-protection.

Original ProtectOurDatabase routine from DrMcCoy sample in the 3.0 SDK. Modified to
disable or enable copy prevention bits of all non-read-only databases.

Honoring the copy prevention bit is purely voluntary and is a fairly weak form of
security. In our case, we just open every existing database, check to see if it is
read-only, and it not, set or reset the copy prevention bit.

Click "Lock All Databases" icon to prevent any database from being beamed.

Click "Unlock All Databases" icon to allow any non-read-only database to be beamed.

This application, although it runs on PalmOS 2.0, is really only useful for PalmOS
versions greater than 3.0 which support beaming via the PalmPilot infrared port.
